![]() ![]() So – to OPEN a DGN one must first be in another drawing and use the IMPORT (DGNIMPORT) command. A user can open a DGN file in AutoCAD LT – but what the instructions in the help file neglect to say is that in order to have the option to IMPORT a DGN one first has to be in a drawing, then when the import dialog is accessible and launched the user is given the OPTION to OPEN the DGN as a distinct session. The disconnect between the instructions and the actual prompts (or lack thereof) is not in the terms used but in the lack of similarity in the interface and the act being attempted. ![]()
